TOTTENHAM were lucky to hold on for a 2-2 draw against their bitter rivals Arsenal in the 199th North London derby at the Emirates today. And while Mauricio Pochettino will be pleased enough with the result, he will certainly be happier with his team’s performance compared to last weekend’s embarrassing home defeat to relegation candidates Newcastle.2 Christian Eriksen justified his return to the starting eleven with the opening goal against ArsenalCredit: Richard Pelham – The SunSpurs are ninth in the Premier League after the draw and the 3,000 away fans in the corner will at least be glad of the improved showing by their team. And here’s what William Pugh thought of the Lilywhites’ performances at their neighbour’s home.HUGO LLORIS – 5Stitched up Vertonghen in the first-half with a hospital pass which led to Rose’s booking and an attacking free-kick for Arsenal. Beaten at the near post for Arsenal’s first too. Made some good saves elsewhere but probably didn’t fill his defence with confidence.DANNY ROSE – 6Showed great commitment to block Pepe’s 22nd minute back post header which would have certainly made it 1-1. Decent enough second-half.TOBY ALDERWEIRELD – 5Solid. Nothing spectacular in a new-look back four.DAVINSON SANCHEZ – 5Filled in well enough at right-back given his side’s emergency situation in the position. Arsenal tried to exploit but he held firm on the whole.JAN VERTONGHEN – 5Same as his defensive partner. Did what he had to. Spurs fans will be glad to see him back in the fold.HARRY WINKS – 6Got up and down the pitch well. More effective in the first half. No huge complaints. Certainly better than his centre-midfield partner.2 Moussa Sissoko spurned a last-gasp chance in a thrilling draw at the EmiratesCredit: ReutersMOUSSA SISSOKO – 4Committed a lot of fouls and none really of the tactical kind. More like the kind where you are getting run around by the opponents and pull or kick them because you are tired.ERIK LAMELA – 6Quiet first ten minutes. Great run and shot for Spurs’ opening goal. Booked for a shirt pull in the first-half. Rightfully subbed as he was ineffective after half-time.CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN – 7Right place right time for the goal. Most of Spurs attacks went through him… as usual. Just does the simple things well and Spurs will hope he stays. Very impressed by his defensive work also.HEUNG-MIN SON – 7Looked lively and threatening in the first half. Focal point of all Spurs’ counter-attacks which was when they looked most dangerous. Curling effort to make it two on 18 minutes but denied by fantastic Leno save. Kept Arsenal defenders on their toes for entire second-half.HARRY KANE – 6Flick on to set Lamela away for the opening goal. Nailed penalty home with aplomb. Smashed one off the post on the hour mark which should have killed the game. Other than that… errr.SUBSDELE ALLI (on for Lamela, 59 mins) – 5Nothing of note. Will likely struggle for game time if Eriksen and Lo Celso are in front of him. Most Read in FootballTHROUGH ITRobbie Keane reveals Claudine’s father was ’50-50′ in coronavirus battleTOP SELLERGavin Whelan has gone from League of Ireland to David Beckham’s InstagramExclusiveRIYAD RAIDMan City’s Riyad Mahrez has three luxury watches stolen in £500,000 raidPicturedAN EYEFULMeet Playboy model and football agent Anamaria Prodan bidding to buy her own clubI SAW ROORodallega saw Rooney ‘drinking like madman’ & Gerrard ‘on bar dancing shirtless’NEXT STEPJonny Hayes set to move to English Championship having been let go by CelticGIOVANO LO CELSO (on for Son, 78) – 5Barely enough time to have an impact. Source = Munich Airport An app for a non-cash shopping experience: Munich Airport’s retail arm eurotrade has signed a cooperative agreement with Wirecard AG and is launching the Asian payment system Alipay in all participating shops. Effective immediately, travelers from China can now use their phones to make purchases easily and conveniently with Alipay in the 69 eurotrade stores. All of eurotrade’s retail units, before and after security, have programmed their point of sale terminals to accept the Alipay bar code. The platform will be expanded in the future to offer other alternative payment methods as well.Payment with an Alipay bar code is very simple: Customers making purchases with their Alipay wallets just show the cashier their smartphone displaying a barcode. After the code is scanned, the payment process begins. Occasionally customers will have to confirm payment by entering their PIN.“Passengers from China are one of our most important, high-revenue target groups at Munich Airport,” says Sven Zahn, the managing director of eurotrade Flughafen München Handels-GmbH. “The ability to offer our Asian guests the same mobile payment option they use at home in all of our stores, without having to change currencies is just the latest example of the philosophy that earned us the title of Europe’s only five-star airport. With Wirecard we have found a local and reliable partner to support us in implementing the solution.”“With our ConnectedPOS platform, we can quickly and easily implement the acceptance of Alipay payments in the eurotrade point-of-sale systems. Alipay is a key strategic partner for us. Alternative POS payment processes are just getting started in Europe. But Alipay is an excellent example of how quickly these solutions can establish themselves as a standard,” adds Markus Eichinger, the Head of Mobile Services with Wirecard.
