Unfortunately, head coach Jim Harbaugh is likely to be pretty upset over the plans of one prized young player, James Hudson.On Monday, the school confirmed via a spokesman that redshirt freshman tackle James Hudson is leaving Michigan to pursue a transfer.Hudson was a four-star recruit when he joined the Wolverines.The loss might leave Michigan a bit thin at elite offensive line depth going forward.Michigan redshirt freshman tackle James Hudson is leaving the program and will pursue a transfer, U-M spokesman Dave Ablauf confirms.— Chris Balas (@Balas_Wolverine) October 22, 2018The Wolverines recruited two four-star OTs this year, Jalen Mayfield and Ryan Hayes.Michigan has thrived defensively this year, but will need to rely on its offense to make waves in the College Football Playoffs, should they qualify.Through seven games, the Wolverines have gotten stellar play from QB Shea Patterson for much of the season, with RB Karan Higdon quietly driving the running game. Higdon has 831 rushing yards and six TDs on the ground – leading and tying the team in both categories respectively.
