The Royal Bank of Scotland Group is extending flexible working rights to allits employees. Called ‘Yourtime’, the new flexible working programme brings a number of newand existing policies under one umbrella. Group HR director Neil Roden said: “Increasingly, employees are lookingfor ways to find a rewarding balance between their work and personal lives andthis programme provides a more structured way of doing this. “Yourtime marks a step change in the way the group views and approachesflexible working,” he said. The scheme will extend the right to requestflexible working to all 84,000 UK employees. Roden said while many employees need flexibility because of caringresponsibilities, many workers are seeking more time to devote to personalinterests. “Supporting different working practices enables the business to be moreflexible as well as improving employee satisfaction and loyalty, and will playa vital role in helping us to retain key skills and experience within theorganisation,” Roden added.
